It is with a fair amount of sadness to announce our going offline permanently. I will be starting my own business this coming January (non-educational related) and I will be focusing on launching my new business and managing my handful of clients full time. Because of this, I cannot devote any more time to this website. The current staff all stepped up and were willing to help in their current capacities, but none were able to take over the responsibilities of running the website due to their own personal obligations. I would like to have done a hand-off to someone who shared our same vision but it wasn't in the cards.
I would like to thank this wonderful community, you made this site pound for pound not only the most knowledgeable distance learning site on the Internet, but a site where tolerance and moderate attitude was our norm, not the exception, we did things no other site has even thought of, let alone implement like we did. We did things right and for all of the right reasons and proved it could be done and those who got in our way didn't last very long.
I would like to thank our staff past and present for volunteering and devoting tens even hundreds of hours these last 15 months we've been online. So thanks "J", michael, dhfr, Ryan, Jimmy Clifton, and Hawk.
I will probably keep this thread and the forums open for another couple of days and probably shut things down end of day November 1st. If you want to save or print threads, PMs, or exchanges emails, now is the time.
Until next time people...

I am heartbroken you guys are closing shop. I feel bad now for mainly lurking these last few months :( .
Thanks for having a wonderful website! You guys were the voice of reason for the last year and even though you guys seemed to struggle to get off the ground, those who found you valued this site very much. This is a huge loss.
If there's anything we can do to help keep the site, let us know if it is not too late already.
Good luck and take care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It ain't always the voice of moderation but everyone other than 5-10 individuals are welcome at Jamesville. The 5-10 know who they are.

So the DI weavils didn't at your infrastructure, no-one has sued you ... that is something.
What about Robert Sore Bum, IUFS - they didn't get you shut down?
Well, we'll take the hint and wander off .... wishing you the best in your future endeavours and thank you for the undying support and the fair veiw taken in all matters.
But - you are starting a new business? You mean that have been lazing around the pool drinking grog ... ?
Good luck - your wife may need a fresh introduction, and your kids - probably had no time to have any kids ..
Go on, close the bloody thing before we all cry ...:~( :~( :~(
