Whitefield Theological Seminary, (http://www.whitefield.edu/) Lakeland, FL, is a school I have followed for a few years now. It holds no regional or national accreditation but appears to be an honorable endeavor.
Its programs are steeped in reformed theology and have been approved by the Reformed Presbyterian Church, General Assembly, which has about a dozen or so churches in Florida.
I received their catalog a number of times (cost $5) and the programs are substantial and the faculty have accredited degrees. I never liked schools charging for catalogs and I don't like Whitefield's $100 application fee.
Many accredited seminaries charge anywhere from 1/2 to 1/4 that for application submission and, never charge for the catalog!
However, I truly believe this may be one of, if not the best, of the unaccredited seminaries. Just take a look at the degree programs--courses, requirements, length of study, etc.
