Have you ever seen what the course materials consist of? My guess is they're limited.

ULC and its degrees are protected by a 1974 Federal Court judgement. That doesn't mean they are academic credentials.

The Universal Life Church is possibly one of the world's largest suppliers of legal degrees. I have a D.D. (hc) from ULC and it fits in nicely with my western action alias - "The Very Reverend Dr Hayes". I wear the full regalia at all major western action championships - dog collar, cross from the Vatican, and carry the ULC bible. I actually married a couple at NZ's major western action shoot last year (a Justice of the Peace signed the legal documents). One couple present were so inspired that they have asked me to re-marry them on their 25th Wedding Anniversary next year.
