Does anyone have any information on Coastland University? Is this an accredited school? Or is it a Diploma mill? Has anyone attended this college? Any helpful information will be appreciated.
Thank you all.
Chris
Also I'm looking to get my Masters degree in Theology. I would like to teach at a college level in the future so I need Regional Accredation. Any ideas? A distance learning degree is what I'm looking for. affordability too.
Thanks again,
Chris

Coastland is not a degree mill. It has California approval to operate. It is not accredited. It is an applicant for accreditation with The Association for Biblical Higher Education, an agency recognized by the federal government.
You might want to check out the masters programs in theology at Liberty. (http://www.liberty.edu/Academics/Religion/)
Liberty has both SACS and TRACS accreditation. You probably need to check to see if their theology programs are SACS accredited and not just TRACS accredited. I don't remember.
The tuition is very reasonable.
You might also want to check out South African Theological Seminary. (http://www.sats.edu.za/) The tuition is very reasonable, about $2200 for the full program and they are accredited and highly acclaimed.
Blessings,
Chris

Jimmy, I checked SATS accreditation. I,m not sure I understand their accreditation. Are they accredited by their govt.? The United States Agency? If you coulfd fill me in on any other information about this Seminary it would be helpful. I just want to make sure I can get into a Regional Doctorate in the United States. Do you know of anyone who has a degree from SATS? If so have they been able to obtain a postion in the career they were pursuing? Thanks Jimmy. Coastland is not a degree mill. Chris,
There are a few folks at www.degreeinfo.com who have and are taking courses at SATS.
Also, some on this forum are more knowledgeable about SATS than I and I would suggest you pose your questions over there.
