School Focus: Illinois Institute of Technology

Advertising in Chemical & Engineering News this week is the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), which offers online Masters degrees in Analytical Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Synthesis, Health Physics, and Biology (with various concentrations). These are fields not served well by DL programs at other universities.

I like that they have certificate programs, if I wasn't involved in so much already right now, I wouldn't mind doing a certificate program and not have to be so committed to an entire degree program, plus the certificate program concentrates on the meat of the coursework too. The non-thesis aspect is also my style :)

These are really really rare degree programs, an excellent find.
