It's been just about two months since we came online with a meager HTML based web page and a phpBB2 bulletin board on a real crappy ISP. We completely replaced all of that infrastructure within the first month.
We have now hit 1000+ posts and 50 registered contributors of this site.
We have had 170k hits, over 100 unique visitors per day for November alone viewing all aspects of our website.
I sincerely hope Degreeboard.com, Inc. is and will evolve into a great Distance Education Portal and Community and we will succinctly focus on that. We also need to be able to change as the winds of Distant Learning change as well, we cannot be static and stuffy and be successful.
I need to give a special thanks to the great moderators we have, J, dhfr, michael, and Ryan. I believe it's imperative that fair but also regular moderation is key to the success of the message boards.
I also need to thank the regular contributors and all of their varying viewpoints whether we like them or not:
