I have half of my degree completed at an Nationally Accredited school on the quarter hour system. My major is in graphic arts. Most RA distant programs would not accept my NA credits and the one that would did not have a major where my major credits fit in and having 3 quarter-credit classes made things even more difficult.
Columbia College of Missouri http://www.ccis.edu/ is RA, accepted my NA credits, and did as much as they could in working with my quarter hour credits. They offer a BA in General Studies (no major needed) so almost all of my courses fit in as electives. CC was recently was ranked in the top tier of Midwestern Comprehensive Colleges-Bachelor's Degree in U.S. News & World Report annual rankings. They accept all the same courses and exams that the BIG 3 accept (CLEP, DANTES etc.) and require that you take only 24 credits with them. The staff is very helpful. It is an excellent choice for anyone with a particular emphasis on anyone with NA credits.
