View Full Version : Closed Thread
Mr Moderator,
Surely closing the thread where Ray1212 posted his so-called "evidence" is a bit premature? I would have thought that the correct thing to do would be to specifically state, from your side, that Alain has the opportunity to reply, and if not, then only close this thread? By closing this thread as you have, you have actually created doubts in members' minds as to your biased or non-biased opinion of Ecole Sorbon. By closing this thread now, the genuine posters of threads will simply filter away from DegreeBoard.Com as this forum will have evolved into another DegreeInfo and others. We are genuine in our attempts to defend education, but now you are curtailing us unfairly.
By closing this thread after Bill has posted his "evidence" (and after first discussing it with you), I for one now have doubts about your neutrality in these matters, I am sorry to have to say.
It is only fair to hear evidence to the contrary as well.
Personally, while I respect Ray1212's decision to withdraw his application from Ecole, I think his move was premature. He e-mailed me with the evidence, and what he mentions is most definitely not enough cause to doubt the legitimacy of Ecole Sorbon!
Please be fair in your moderations of threads as you have been in the past, don't change now!
Len.

Len:
Our information, evidence, and opinion is independent of what Mr. Ray1212 possesses and what he shared, he sent me a humble message and I allowed him to post his findings after I closed the main Sorbon thread earlier that morning. Mr. Alain Michal is not banned, censored, and has our email address.
Degreeboard.com as a result of our own information and private correspondence with Sorbon has come to our own independent conclusions.
Let me be very clear, Degreeboard.com, Inc has no neutrality towards Sorbon and we recommend to our users of this site to search for other distance learning offerings.
As far as your comment about users "filtering away". Let me be very clear once again to you and everyone else reading this thread.
What other sites do has nothing to do with what we do.
We'll give anyone a fair shake, but do not confuse tolerance for weakness. I and the staff of Degreeboard.com, Inc. have invested hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars starting this portal dedicated to legitimate distance learning offerings and discussions.
The shenanigans of the past in all it's forms have no place here.
I will give you, Len, one response in the spirit of free speech before I close this thread. Any others responding other than Len will get deleted.
And what are your "independant findings"? Please advise, so that the whole world can also see your findings and weigh it up against solid facts and evidence available. I look forward to this.
Secondly, running your forum as a military outfit, dictating what can be posted and when, is against your intentions of a forum. I do agree with you that shenanigans and outbursts, slandering, etc. does not have a place here, but to close a thread at the height of "evidence" being provided is unfair, as I mentioned earlier.
People will actually be scared to post on DegreeBoard now because of this. I went to DegreeInfo this morning; our dear friend Ray1212 was actually posting there under 3 different aliases - PhDCyberspace and 2 others. He has been caught out there on this. Here he posts as Ray1212 - how certain are you that he has not posted under another alias here at your forum as well? Yet you close the thread and make these threats about deleting posts - exactly what the world out there wants - can't you see this???
So be it then.
I really thought that this forum would be open and fair. Pity that it is not.
And you are now welcome to close this thread if you so wish.
Wishing you a splendid day.
