I know one gentleman named 'Dr' Robert Ray Hills, who claims to be a Vietnam veteran. In recent days, his institution The International University was caught in forging official documents in Bangladesh. Now this genteman, anticipating legal actions, is spreading false and senseless rumors about our newspaper and me. The truth is Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury aka "Blitz", attacked me and called into question my patroitism after he attempted to extort $2,000 from Dr. Stephen Barnhart and TIU for the publication of articles in his newspaper. What does TIU have to do with Vietnam anyway? As many of you know, last year I went to Iraq. I have faithfully served in the United States Air Force for over ten years. He has made statements to people I know mentioning I am "Palls of the Al Queda" or basically a terrorist. He has some nerve!! Why would the moderators allow his continued attacks here, especially regarding a subject he knows nothing about and that is serving his country.

Dear Dr. Stephen R. Barnhart:

It has come to my notice that a gentleman from your institution named Dr. Ray Hills is spreading false propaganda saying I have demanded US$ 1,000 from The International University (TIU) as extortion. As you know, such false allegations against the editor of newspapers is serious offense and I would like to request you to stop such nasty campiagn, otherwise, I shall be compelled to lodge defemation suite against your institution including your Dhaka Campus for this offense.

As you know, The International University provided you with several documents saying they have registration from Ministry of Education in Bangladesh. You kindly provided me with the copies of the documents. But, it was already revealed that all such documents were false and under Bangladesh law, forging official documents is a serious crime. Bangladesh government is already on the process of initiating necessary actions against TIU-Dhaka Campus for such forgery.

As you also know, when I drew your attention to the news item in The New Age, stating the fraudulant activities of TIU-Dhaka, you asked for my suggestions on the remedy. You also told me that you have no relations with TIU Dhaka since 2005. At this stage, I suggested you to publish your own statements in major Englsih newspaper in Bangladesh as advertisements. You then asked the possible costs and I gave you the same. But, I never did claim any money from you, which the said Dr. Robert Hill's mentions about.

You are possibly well aware of my position in Bangladesh and the prestige and dignity I am enjoying in this country. I am running several newspapers and a modern printing and publication industry. Any fool will even not believe that, I might ask for US$ 1,000 from anyone as extortion. This is a serious allegation on me, which hampers my reputation and prestige.

I would request you to immediately issue a statement withdrawing the false allegation and with due apology in next 24 hours, failing which, I shall be compelled to lodge necessary legal actions.

Since you were one of the several thousand signatories in the petition for my release (although it was of no value to Bangladesh government), I still have some degree of admiration and gratitute. But, Dr. Hills states that TIU did everything for my release, which is again a false statement. The world knows that, several international organizations for journalists and members of US Congress worked hard for my release. Moreover, Dr. Hill tries to justify the false sedition case against me as a real one. You too know that government has failed to frame any charge to begin the trial, as there is no substance in this case. The case was filled against me for criticizing the Islamist millitants and Al-Qaeda. The sympathetic words of Dr. Hills to the case, creates doubt in my mind about his own integrity and whether he too is a Al Qaeda palls. I shall have to publish several news items in Blitz about this in the weeks to come.

It looks like my link to the Military Forums has been taken down. Here it is for the record. I would encourage everyone to read the following link carefully and determine who has attacked whom. It is apparent that Mr. Choudhury, aka "Blitz" is attempting to refocus the issue here against his trying to extort $2,000 out of Dr. Barnhart and TIU. The real issue is, that the only time this gentleman ever served was seventeen months in Bangladesh prison for charges of sedition. He is now attempting to gain support so he can seek political asylum in the good old USA!! Oh and by the way, I am saving this web page just in case the moderators take it down
