London External. My uncle obtained a pricey masters at the age of 52. Now despite his failing memory, he seemed to recall much of what he learned. Indicative of good curriculum delivery.

Babson's Fast Track MBA is definitely worth taking a look at...

I just read a recent interview from Accepted.com with Dean Dr. Mark Rice at Babson College. He talks about the Babson MBA Program and more specifically the Fast Track MBA program they offer that blends classroom and distance learning as a good way to further your career on a tight schedule.
I think it’s a good read and really gives you a clear picture on how their distance learning program works.

Bellevue University was a great experience for me. I obtained my MA in Leadership there. They have an MA in Management and many other Masters and BA s as well. They are worth checking out.

Bellevue's main campus is in Bellevue, Nebraska. Grad tuition is $340/credit hour for online courses, not cheap.

It looks like a decent RA school. It's too bad that those of us who watch cop shows on TV associate the name "Bellevue" with the well-known psychiatric facility (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bellevue_Hospital) in New York.

Here's my pick for an interesting DL program: DETC applicant American Center for Conflict Resolution Institute (ACCRI). (http://www.accri.org/index.html)

With our action-packed correspondence course you will earn a Certification as a Professional Business & Family Mediator in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Many students complete the program in as little as 4 months but you will have up to 24 months to complete your training.

The American Center for Conflict Resolution Institute is a non-profit organization that provides worldwide education for the mediation profession. Hundreds of people throughout the world have enrolled in our globally recognized Mediator Certification Training Program.

The regular tuition rate is $999.00 for the 80-hour program. They are almost always having a sale of some sort, and the current rate is $888.00. I enrolled in this program last year and paid $468.00.

It's a decent overview course, but it includes none of the practical experience you would get in a classroom program. You can do the exams online and submit the writing assignments via email, so in that sense it's very convenient. The exams and workbook suffer for want of proofreading. For example, more than a few of the exam questions are unintelligible due to missing words.

One of the oddities of the course is that the ten end of chapter review questions (for which answers are provided) are identical to ten of the twenty chapter final exam questions. Since you only need 70% to pass you really only need to answer 4 out of the remaining 10 correctly. This tends to greatly offset the fact that the question frequently is an absurdity to begin with.

Although I enrolled in this program last year, I didn't get around to even opening the box until a few weeks ago. Once I finally got rolling I sailed through it in less than 4 weeks, although I do have some prior familiarity with the subject matter.

So overall not the greatest program in the world, but not a bad deal for a pretty easy certification. It seems like a good, cheap alternative to enrolling in an online master's degree program (e.g., Sullivan University (http://gradschool.sullivan.edu/graduate/curriculum/msdr/index.html)), particularly if you aren't sure about jumping in with both feet quite yet.

Wow, great board! I ran across it recently and joined immediately. Anyway, I have two DL degrees:

1. A.A.S. Community College of the Air Force
2. B.S. Regis University

Both a great experience.

Thanks!

I am currently enrolled in Cameron University's online Masters in Entrepreneurial Studies. Cameron also has an online MBA program. I am also attending Grand Canyon University for Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology.
